Web — Performance, Core Web Vitals and technical remediation
Core Web Vitals are Google’s three field measurements of how a page feels to a real visitor: how fast the main content appears (LCP), how quickly it responds to input (INP), and how much the layout shifts while loading (CLS). We diagnose against your own field data rather than a lab score, and fix the causes in priority order.

Because that is a lab test on a simulated device, and Core Web Vitals are assessed on what real visitors experience. Field data from actual phones on actual connections routinely looks far worse than a lab score. We work from the field data, which is also what Google uses.
They are a genuine but modest ranking factor — they will not outrank better content. The commercial case is usually conversion rather than ranking: a faster page loses fewer people before it loads, which shows up in revenue and in the cost of every advertising click you send to it.
